Before you start

Touring Queensland Fund applications must include:

  • Up to three letters from individuals or organisations in support of your application that include an original signature and contact details of the author.
  • Audience development strategy
  • Letter/s of confirmation and/or in principle commitment from tour venues, communities and/or schools. 
  • Evidence of commitment to presenting the work from at least 75% of participating venues or presenters (commitment can be dependent on funding being secured and can include email correspondence as well as booking forms or contracts etc). 
  • Tours involving schools, evidence of interest in booking the proposed activity from at least 75% of participating schools. 
  • For applications involving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts communities and cultures - evidence you have followed required protocols and have the relevant support and approvals for your activities from appropriate community representatives. 
  • For applications involving people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people with a disability, children or young people - evidence you have followed required protocols to obtain support and confirmation of involvement from the relevant communities and organisations. 
  • Letter/s of confirmation and brief CVs/biographies from key professionals working in the project. 
  • Letter/s of confirmation from project partners including nature of support or participation. 
  • Applications from consortia of venues or presenters must clearly identify a lead organisation that will manage the funding contract, if successful.

We recommend you include:

  • Up to three examples of previous work that demonstrates the quality of the proposed activity
  • Project Evaluation plan
  • Evidence of curriculum links and examples of education resources (recommended for activities that involve schools and kindergartens)
  • Quotes for significant budget items
  • Evidence of income (eg booking agreements or contacts showing fees to be paid to you for project activity, confirmation of in-kind or cash sponsorship and contributions, or approved grant funding from non-Arts Queensland sources)
  • Any other information to support income or expense estimations
  • Copy of certificate of insurance
  • Any other information to demonstrate the appropriate management of any risks associated with delivering your project.
